This adventure takes you around the beautiful coastal waters with breathtaking views of sheer cliff faces, craggy rocks, and mountain ranges while searching for chance encounters with Dusky Dolphins and Blue Penguins. As you paddle, experience the excitement of watching fur seals ducking, weaving, and diving around your kayak, and look out for blue penguins, albatross, and playful dusky dolphins. Then watch as seals swim around the Kaikōura Peninsula hunting for their favorite feed of octopus. Be sure to keep your distance as they devour their delicious dinner in front of you!
Watch in amazement as hundreds of pelagic (ocean-going) birds swoop in to clean up the tasty leftovers. Hop on a traditional sea kayak, which is enclosed, safe, stable, and easily steered using a rudder while fast on the water and you will stay warm and dry. Families, individuals, and groups are most welcome!

fabuleux
nous avons eu la chance de croiser un pinguin, et de nombreux phoques, les guides etaient patients et plein d'anecdotes. et la balade en kayak est juste superbe, on s'est régalés du début à la fin!!!

An epic kayak adventure
Our family trip with Kaikoura Kayaks was the best end of our 7 months traveling through NZ! It was a beautiful winter morning with awesome views over the Kaikoura ranges and we were surprised by many playing dolphins around the kayaks and a juvenile humpback whale who was giving us the best show. Only 100 meters from us he was jumping and splashing into the water which was just incredible to watch. We will never ever forget this epic kayak adventure with Grace, our awesome guide. Thank you Kaikoura Kayaks!

Incroyable
Nous sommes partis pour une petite ballade en kayak et nous nous sommes retrouvés entourés par les dauphins ! Nous avons meme eu La chance de voir et d'approcher une baleine. Je recommande !
