Our authentic small group sailing tour takes you to the very heart of Akaroa's natural beauty - getting you up close and personal to one of New Zealand's most treasured locations.
Throughout the cruise we'll make our way around the many beautiful bays situated in the crater of an extinct volcano.
This pristine ecosystem is home to much wildlife; Hectors Dolphins, Little Blue Penguins and many seabirds are frequently sighted on this tour.
Our 33-ft MRX yacht is fast and responsive, which lets us sail primarily with wind power, making this tour a sustainable and environmentally friendly way to enjoy Akaroa Harbour!
If you're keen for more of a hands-on experience - you'll have the opportunity to take the helm and trim the sails along the way! (No previous sailing experience necessary)

Sailing
The sailing trip was extremely beautiful and fun. I had never sailed before, but was very comfortable on the sail boat.

Sailing Trip
A sailing trip without wind is never easy but Danny (the captain) made the best out of it. He is a real Kiwi and told a lot of stories about akaora. Unexpected but luckily some dolphins show up and made the trip unforgettable. We were 4 People on the small sailing boat and the 2 captains.
